A portion of New Jersey Avenue between South 16th and South 17th Streets in Sheboygan will need to be closed for utility work until Monday, February 20th. The Department of Public Works made the announcement on Wednesday afternoon, advising motorists to detour using South 16th Street, Maryland Avenue, and South 17th Street in order to bypass the closure.
The DPW acknowledged the inconvenience and requested patience during the closure, and also advised motorists to slow down and use caution in construction zones.
