Sheboygan County Sheriff
A one-year-old child is recovering at Children’s Hospital in Wauwatosa today after being run over on Saturday. The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office said they were called to a home on Birchwood Drive in Sheboygan Falls at around 10:30 Saturday morning with reports of a child injured by a car.
Officials with the Sheriff’s Office say the child had run out of a house while a vehicle was being unloaded off a trailer, running over the child. Theda Star was called to the scene to flight the toddler for further examination and treatment of a broken collarbone and some facial injuries. The Sheriff’s Office says the event was an accident.
