Roy Hundt, age 85, of Plymouth, passed away at Aurora Sheboygan County Medical Center on February
1, 2023.
He was born in Milwaukee on December 10, 1937, a son of the late Elmer and Florence (Sieber) Hundt.
Roy worked at Wisconsin Bell Phone Company (AT&T) for 37 years, retiring in 1994. Following his
retirement, he drove and helped deliver parts for Brantmeier Ford in Sheboygan and Burkart Ford in
Plymouth. He also was active in the Coast Guard Auxiliary for 19 years and helped as a Teacher’s Aide
for Special Education for the Plymouth School District.
Roy was married to Judith Melms and together they raised 3 children: Shelly, David, and Dan.
In May of 1984, he married Linda (Dobberpuhl) Simonsen and became a step-father to her two sons: Eric
and Tom.
Roy enjoyed feeding and watching the wildlife in the backyard, as well as spending time with family,
neighbors, and friends.
He is survived by: His loving wife of almost 39 years, Linda; Three children: Shelly (Scott) Allmann of
Plymouth, David (Dawn) Hundt of Plymouth, and Dan (Pam) Hundt of Sheboygan; Two step-children:
Eric (Toni) Simonsen of Clintonville and Tom (Kim) Simonsen of West Bend; 15 Grandchildren; 15 Great
grandchildren; 1 Great-great grandchild with one on the way; Two sisters-in-law: Janis (Dennis) Moore
of New Castle, KY, and Carolyn Anderson of Cedarburg; As well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and
friends.
Following Roy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no visitation or services will be held.
