Kathleen “Kasey” L. Bacon, age 87, of Plymouth, passed away early Friday morning, January
13, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan County.
She was born on January 31, 1935, in West Allis, WI, the daughter of the late Eleanor (Bennett)
and Curtis Olsen.
She graduated from Crivitz High School in Crivitz, WI. On September 11, 1954, she married
Roger Bacon who remained lovingly by her side for their 56 years of blessed marriage until his
death in 2011.
For the past forty years, Mom was busy loving and caring for her family and teaching us how to
provide for ourselves. She did everything from gardening to raising champion dairy goats along
with a menagerie of horses, pigs, rabbits, dogs, and any stray animal that came our way. She was
a teacher of life and life’s lessons and inspired her family to love pets and wildlife.
She is survived by her children Diana (Jay) Ratz of Sheboygan, Christopher (Joy) Bacon of
Plymouth, David (Barb) Bacon of Appleton, Daniel (Dottie) Bacon of Crivitz and Nancy (Dave)
Miller of Sheboygan Falls, her grandchildren (Betsy and Anthony), her great grandson Sawyer,
various step grandchildren, one sister Mary (Richard) Kordes of Green Bay, nephew Ted (Kathy)
Kordes and niece Kristy (Ron) Blain.
Funeral services will be held on Friday January 20, 2023 at the Suchon Funeral Home, 1317
State Road 67, Plymouth, WI. Visitation will take place from 1:00 – 3:00 PM with a service to
follow at 3:00 PM. Burial will be in the Greenbush Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be given to your favorite animal charity.

The family would like to thank the staff at Plymouth Health Services for the love and care given
to Mom in recent years. They’d also like to thank the wonderful angels and staff at the Aurora
Medical Center Sheboygan County for the warm and caring support they provided Mom during
her stay.
