David R. Vesey, age 95, passed away on January 9, 2023, at Kindred Hearts in Plymouth where he resided for the past year.
He was born in Plymouth on August 17, 1927, a son of the late Wayne and Alma (Reinbold) Vesey. David graduated from Plymouth High School in 1945 and enlisted in the United States Navy from 1945-1947.
Following his military service, he ran the family business, Reinbold Hardware, until its closing. He later worked at Bitter Neumann, Miesfeld’s, Fleet Farm, and Plymouth Furniture until his retirement.
He was a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church in Plymouth.
David enjoyed skiing, golfing, sailing, and trips to EAA with his grandson Travis.
Survivors include: His wife of 50 years, Marion; Stepsons: Charles (Nancy) Hellmer of Greenbush and John Hellmer of San Diego, CA; and Grandson: Travis (Jessica) Hellmer of Greenville, WI.
He was preceded in death by: His parents; Son: David; and Brother: Richard Vesey.
Following David’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no visitation or services will be held. Inurnment will be in Greenbush Cemetery.
