Dan Nanz, Age 52, passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones on January 6, 2023 after a short battle with cancer.
He was born on December 28, 1970 in Maryland a son of Shorty and Joyce (Curran) Nanz.
Dan and family moved to Wisconsin in 1974. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1989.
Dan worked for years at Mark Winkle Construction and most recently at Elkay Interior Systems.
He was loved by family and many friends who will miss him. Dan enjoyed hunting in Necedah, cheering for his Packers and Brewers, shooting trap, reading, Sci-fi, history, trivia and recently chasing a golf ball around a course, but loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by the love of his life: Cheryl Muecke, his parents: Shorty and Joyce Nanz of Town of Mitchell, his siblings: Kristy (Ryan) Gahagan of the Town of Mitchell, Mitch (Sarah) Nanz of Newburg and Val (Matt) Lohr of Sheboygan Falls. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and other relatives and many friends.
Following Dan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be NO VISITATION OR SERVICES.
