As the year of 2022 draws to close, winter commencements for college students wrapped up for the class of 2022. At Lakeshore Technical College on Saturday December 17, students in the College’s associate degree in the Applied Science Criminal Justice Law Enforcement program all graduated with honors. The program’s 15 graduating students each achieved a GPA of 3.50-3.99, which earned student honors, while two of the program’s students had a GPA of 4.0, earning them presidential honors.
“In my past 11 years as dean overseeing this program, I do not recall having a cohort where all our students graduated with honors,” said Lakeshore Dean of Transportation, Energy, and Public Safety Ryan Skabroud. “This is a testament to not only our students’ commitment, but also to our faculty and staff who drove these students to achieve their best. We are confident our graduates will serve our communities admirably.”
Skaburd further noted that the majority of the graduates already have job offers from various law enforcement agencies within the state, ranging from counties like Door to Calumet, as well as ones closer to home like Sheboygan and Ozaukee counties.
