Dennis Luedtke, age 74 of Plymouth, passed away on Sunday, December 11th.
He was born on March 21, 1948 in Sheboygan, the son of the late Clarence and Berta Luedtke. He attended the former Urban Junior High and graduated from North High School in 1966.
On September 23, 1972 he married Marlene Pentek of Sheboygan.
Dennis was a deputy with the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department from November 1, 1971 to June 1, 2001 when he retired. During his time as a deputy he was a patrolman, worked on the former county Lakeshore Boat Patrol, became certified in Accident Reconstruction and served as a court bailiff.
He enjoyed gardening and especially fishing while on vacations with family.
Dennis is survived by his wife Marlene, sons Jason (Amy) of Plymouth and Jeremy (Anne) of Appleton; as well as grandchildren Tyler, Jack and Grant of Plymouth; Hannah, Hailey, Brady and Kelli of Appleton as well as nieces, nephews, many other relatives and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by brother David of Minocqua, nephew Chris of Oak Creek, sister-in-law Lois of Menomonee Falls.
Funeral services will be held on December 22, 2022 at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Visitation will take place from 10:00-11:30 am followed by services. Inurnment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Town of Sheboygan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made in Dennis’ name to a favorite charity.
