The City of Sheboygan is gearing up for its second annual Jingle & Mingle at City Green on Saturday December 3rd. This family-friendly event will include entertainment, a marketplace, a brat fry, trolley rides, and Santa!
Santa and his elves will be available from 12:30 p.m.-2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.-4:00 p.m. The Marketplace is open from Noon to 4 :00pm with crafters, sweet treats, and a traditional brat fry. Trolley rides will tour the city and will allow the opportunity to visit local shops in addition to a holiday open house that will be happening in select downtown, riverfront and South Pier businesses. You can also help decorate the city’s Christmas with handmade ornaments and mail the kids’ letters to Santa. There is also going to be an ugly sweater contest with prizes. Local Christmas marketplace vendors will include Comfort & Joy Wooden Ornaments, Crafters Attic (soaps, lotions & more), Fat Cat 3D creations, Hope Church Bake Sale, Infernal Candles, Mz. Nita’s Kitchen (desserts & baked goods), Nap Time Treasures (wire jewelry), and She Sews Creations (purses, wallets, backpacks, kids’ pouches).
Donations will be accepted by Making Spirits Bright, who will be collecting canned goods for the Sheboygan County Food Bank (coupons from The Black Pig will be given for each donation) and the Salvation Army will be collecting for their Toys for Tots and red kettle program and serving up hot beverages. The Sheboygan Jaycees is serving up a traditional brat fry and a hot cocoa stand.
