Donald J. Heideman, 71, passed away Monday afternoon, November 21, 2022 at Aurora Medical Center – Sheboygan County.
Donald was born October 9, 1951 in Sheboygan, the son of Joseph and Florence (Lammers) Heideman. He graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School in 1970, and furthered his education at Reformed Bible College in Grand Rapids, MI, receiving a degree in Theology History.
He worked at Musebeck Shoe Company, Larson Canning Company, and most recently as a custodian at Hingham Church.
A longtime member of Hingham Church, Don was active throughout the years as a Sunday School teacher, Bible Class teacher, Elder, and in various other groups. He also enjoyed working the audio/visual systems at church.
Hobbies he enjoyed over his lifetime included astronomy, photography and listening to classical music. Don also enjoyed his Sunday outings for ice cream with his good friend John Port.
Don is survived by his brother Robert Heideman; nephew Dean (Karen) Buelke and his family: Kayla Zeman (friend Léam Delaney) and Chris Buelke; niece Dawn (John) Mueller and her family: Michael (Laura) Mueller, Shawn (Britt) Mueller and their son Gabriel; nephew Scott Buelke; other relatives and friends.
Don is preceded in death by his parents, step-mother Beatrice Heideman, brother Kenneth and sister Mary (Harmon) Buelke.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Hingham Church. The family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday from 12:00-1:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hingham Church.
