Larissa Wallo passed away on November 1, 2022, at the age of 16, following a car accident. Larissa was
born on February 27, 2006 to parents Chad and Jennifer Wallo. She was known to all her friends and
family as a sweet, quirky, fun-loving girl. She was a Junior at Howard’s Grove High School. Her favorite
thing to do was drawing – the girl had skill. She was thinking about going to be a Graphic Designer after
high school. We could also see her as a writer. Her creativity with a pen and paper was awe-inspiring.
She could play the saxophone and was in the choir. She loved music and the class. She also worked at
Log Cabin where she hosted, bussed, and did takeouts. She got to work with her friends which is always
a good time. Always needing potato skins or chicken gnocchi soup to bring home.
Larissa was in a class by itself. She did her own thing, because that was who she was. She was smart,
kind, caring, funny, and beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. She always had a shoulder to lean
on and a willingness to help others. She loved her friends like they were her family. She loved hanging
with her besties. Jamming to her favorite music, which was rock. Watching anime and horror movies or
anything scary. Halloween was her favorite holiday. She was the girl who always wanted to dress up as
something scary. She loved swimming in the summer by her grandparents’ house and spending time
with them. She was the best big sister to her brother. They could finish each other’s sentences. She
helped him practice for baseball because she was in softball for years. The girl could throw. She will
always be loved, forever missed, and is now a beautiful angel.
She is survived by her parents, Chad and Jennifer Wallo, brother Levi Wallo, paternal
grandparents Dave and Becky Wallo, maternal grandparents, Debbie Hoffmann and Patrick
Morton, paternal great-grand father Floyd Wallo and maternal great-grandmother Beverly
Blevons, aunts and uncles; Andy (Andrea) Hoffmann, Tony (Janice) Hoffmann, Jessica (Robert)
Lomibao, Jackie Morton, Ian Morton, Cody (Alicia) Wallo and Jaimee ( Tim) Jordan. She was
preceded in death by her great-grandparents Claire and Leona Baumann, Raphaella Morton,
Keith Blevons and Mary Wallo.
