Gladys A. Guillette, 87, of Sheboygan, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Harvest
Home Assisted Living in Howards Grove. She was born April 21, 1935 in Montpelier to the late
Nicholas and Anna (Selner) Glaser. Gladys graduated from Luxemburg High School where she
was proudly named prom queen and met the love of her life Adelbert H. Guillette.
On September 29, 1956 she was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart Adelbert H.
Guillette in Pilsen. Together they raised two sons Tim (Jane) Guillette of Sheboygan and Brian
(Gretchen) Guillette of Tulsa, OK. He preceded her in death on April 12, 2019.
Gladys had a strong faith and was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church, where she was
active in the Women’s group helping with luncheons and held a position as an officer on
different committees at the church. Gladys was the head librarian at the school as well. She
loved to dance especially the polka and was a Master Gardner. Her family was very important to
her. Gladys enjoyed traveling with them and creating so many lasting memories with them.
She is further survived by her four grandchildren; Brad, David, Greta and Blake, her six great
grandchildren, and is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at Ballhorn
Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th
St., Sheboygan, with Fr. Norbert
Sandoval officiating. Inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends
may visit with the family on Thursday, November 3, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the time of service
at the FUNERAL HOME. If you are unable to join the family for the service it will be
livestreamed on Glady’s obituary page on the funeral home website.
