Elizabeth A. Tershner (nee Duquette), of Port Washington, WI, formerly of Plymouth, WI, passed away
early Wednesday Morning (October 26, 2022) after a short term battle with cancer. She was 82 years
old.
She was born in Plymouth, WI, on July 2, 1940 the daughter of the late Camille and Elizabeth
(VanHavemaat) Duquette. She grew up in Plymouth and was a Pantherette cheerleader at Plymouth
High School where she graduated with the class of 1958. After high school, she worked at the Telephone
Company and at the Brady Company in Milwaukee before she became a fulltime Mom.
Elizabeth was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth.
Elizabeth recently traveled to Memphis, TN to see Graceland. She loved everything that had to do with
Elvis Presley. She enjoyed her trips to Phillips, WI and going to the Wisconsin Dells. Elizabeth liked
reading her Bible, listening to music, dancing, playing Bingo and watching the Green Bay Packers games.
She came from a big family and was proud of her ancestry.
Elizabeth is survived by her three children: Vickie Hackbarth of Belgium, WI, Ed (Becky) Manthei of
Saukville, WI, and Mike Moser of Milwaukee, WI.
She is furthered survived by five grandchildren: Andrea Hackbarth (Jeremy Wautier), Maria Hackbarth,
(Dennis) Radtke, Joe Manthei, Sam Manthei (Fiancé: Adam Chmielewski) and Mario Medeiros.
Four great grandchildren: Nolan Podlipsky, Jillian Yanke and Truman and Violet Radtke. She is also
survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son: Roy Moser, her parents: Camille and Elizabeth Duquette,
Sisters: Rita Bronoel, Loretta Ziegler, Natalie Faust, Lois Miller, Elaine Mousseau and Cecilia Yellen.
Brothers: Francis, Bernard and Camille along with other family members Robert Hackbarth and Lori
Narlock Manthei.
Private graveside services will be held on November 5, 2022 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in
Plymouth with her parents. Father Philip Reifenberg, pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church will
officiate.
