Adam L. Krause, 58, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 30, 2022. He was
born July 27, 1964, in Milwaukee to Lyle and Robin (Lauson) Krause. Adam graduated from Sheboygan
North High School with the Class of 1983. He went on to proudly serve in the Marines from 1983 to
1987.
On March 17, 1989, he was united in marriage to Cyndi Kolb.
Adam continued his education becoming a journeyman millwright while working at Johnsonville as a
mechanic. Then in 1994 he went to Plastics Engineering to work as a millwright mechanic, then was
accepted into an industrial electrician apprenticeship program, becoming a journeyman electrician.
Family was very important to him, he always put them above all else. Adam loved spending time with
them creating lasting memories. He was a man of faith. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time
up north at his cabin. Adam was a tinkerer; he was good at building things for his family and friends.
Adam was known for fixing things, everyone knew if it was broken take it to Adam, he would get it to
work. His sense of humor will never be forgotten, his “Jokes of the Day” are going to be missed by all.
He also cherished all his animals, caring for his cats and dogs.
Adam is survived by his mother Robin Krause, wife of 33 years Cyndi, children; Kyrie (Joe) Burton, Aleah
(Lance) Ryan, and Quinn Krause, grandchildren; Adeline Burton, Azaleah Burton, Charlie Ryan, Ella
Ryan and Ana Burton, by his sisters Marcie Laurin, Connie Rautmann, Lafaye (Wayne) Rautmann, and
Wendy (Greg) Pagel, brother Matthew Krause, and sister-in-law Diana Kolb. He is further survived by
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, and brothers-in-
law Dave Laurin, Lowell Rautmann, and Bill Kolb.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 6:00 pm at Zimmer Westview
Funeral & Cremation care Center, W2132 Garton Rd., Sheboygan. Military Honors will follow the
service. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, from 4:00 pm
until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME. If you are unable to join the family for the service, it will
be live streamed on Adam’s obituary page on the funeral home website.
