
Rosemary E. “Rosie” Grosskreutz, age 66, of the Town of Plymouth, WI, passed away on October 9, 2022
after a long courageous battle with leukemia at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.
She was born on February 22, 1956 in Green Bay, WI, a daughter of the late Jesse and Mildred
(Skenedore) Baird.
Rosie graduated from Plymouth High School in 1974. On October 11, 1975, she married Joseph
Grosskreutz Jr. at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth.
She worked at Borden’s and Plyco Corporation for 36 years.
Rosie enjoyed fishing, watching the Green Bay Packers, beading, going to the casino, finding collectable
pigs, and spending time with her grandson, Aiden.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Plymouth.
Rosie was a caring, loving, outgoing, and always willing to help others person. She will be missed dearly
by so many.
Survivors include her husband, Joe; two sons, Joseph Grosskreutz III and Derek Grosskreutz; grandson,
Aiden and his mother, Vicki Grosskreutz; eight siblings, Sharon Clark, Bernice Flunker, Janet Christel,
Marilyn (Claude) Hochrein, Jesse Baird Jr. (fiancée Debbie O); brother-in-law, William “Bill” (Cathy)
Grosskreutz; special friends, John and Marilyn Krizenesky, Neighbor Nap, Ron and Donna DeZwarte,
Kristi Beaudr Kathy Prettie, and Fergie and Linda; and her dog, Toby the Pug.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of Rosie’s Life will be held at a later date.
