Green Bay East (0-5, 0-3) @ Sheboygan North (2-3, 2-1); 9/23/22, 7:00 p.m.
Game notes: Green Bay East has yet to score a single point this season and have given up an average of 52.8 points per game on defense. Sheboygan North produced their lowest point total of the season last week offensively, scoring just 7 points in the fourth quarter to avoid being shut-out in a loss to Notre Dame.
Hilbert (2-3, 1-2) @ Cedar-Grove Belgium (3-2, 3-0); 9/23/22, 7:00 p.m.
Game notes: After some initial struggles offensively, Cedar-Grove Belgium silenced a lot of doubters with a dominating 63-14 win on the road against Manitowoc Lutheran. Hilbert on the other hand enters after failing just short of a comeback against Howards Grove last week, their window to win the Big East Conference this year quickly closing.
Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian (2-3, 2-1) @ Two Rivers (5-0, 3-0); 9/23/22, 7:00 p.m.
Game notes: Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian barely managed to hold off Valders last week with a 26-20 win. However, that victory does keep them in the hunt for the Eastern Wisconsin Conference title and a win over the undefeated Two Rivers would give them a chance to win it later this year (although Kohler’s loss to Chilton earlier this season, who is also undefeated, also will be a factor). Kohler/Sheboygan Lutheran/Christian has won the last three games against Two Rivers.
Oostburg (4-1, 3-0) @ Howards Grove (4-1, 2-1); 9/23/22, 7:00 p.m.
Game notes: This is a game that could very well go a long way in deciding the winner of the Big East Conference as Oostburg and Howards Grove both have matches against Reedsville (also 4-1 this season), but Howards Grove has a significantly easier schedule with games against Ozaukee (2-3) and Random Lake to fill out their remaining schedule. Meanwhile, beyond Reedsville, Oostburg has games against Cedar-Grove Belgium (3-2) and Manitowoc Lutheran (0-5) left after this week’s game.
Plymouth (4-1, 2-1) @ Kewaskum (5-0, 3-0); 9/23/22, 7:00 p.m.
Game notes: Plymouth is entering losing an epic back and forth contest against Berlin 26-24. Kewaskum has necessarily been pretty in their undefeated season, but have played stellar defense with 10 team sacks and an East Central Conference leading 7 interceptions. Kewaskum’s defense will have to be on point to win this one though, as Plymouth has averaged 35.8 points per game and just under 1,800 yards of total offense this season.
Sheboygan South (1-4, 1-2) @ Menasha (4-1, 3-0); 9/23/22, 7:00 p.m.
Game notes: Sheboygan South won their first game of 2022 with a 40-0 shut-out win over Green Bay West last week. Menasha meanwhile comes into the game with the top offense in the FRCC-South Conference, averaging 40.4 points per game and a defense that has given up just 7 points in conference play this season.
Reedsville (4-1, 2-1) @ Random Lake (0-5, 0-3); 9/23/22, 7:00 p.m.
Game notes: Random Lake’s losing streak has now reached 20 straight games following a 36-0 defeat to Oostburg last week. Random Lake is hoping to play spoiler, as Reedsville’s hopes for winning the Big East Conference hinge upon them winning every remaining game on their schedule, including matchups with Oostburg and Howards Grove who are both ahead of Reedsville in the conference standings.
Sheboygan Falls (3-2, 1-2) @ Waupun (1-3, 0-3); 9/24/22 (Saturday), 1:00 p.m.
Game notes: Sheboygan Falls will be looking to continue their offensive momentum started last week with a 57-6 win against Ripon, by taking on a Waupun team who has given up 41+ points in all of their losses. Sheboygan Falls has also won the two matches against Waupun.
