CINCINNATI, OH (WHBL) – Kolten Wong hit three home runs and drove in all five runs in a 5-1 Brewers win over the Cincinnati Reds Thursday night at Great American Ball Park.
The three long balls ties a team record and is the 22nd time it’s happened in team history. The last time was Christian Yelich in April of 2019.
Brandon Woodruff gave up just one run and struck out 11 batters in six innings of work for the win.
The Brewers remain 2.5 games back of Philadelphia and 3 back of San Diego in the wild card chase.
