Darlene A. (Brinkman) Raml, age 86, of Sheboygan, died on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Harvest Home in Howards Grove. She was born in Sheboygan on April 30, 1936, the daughter of the late Byron and Angeline Damrow LaPean.
She attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1955. On April 29, 1977, she was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Raml in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death in 1988. Darlene was a secretary and salesclerk for Roenitz Pharmacy.
She was a current member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sheboygan, and volunteered for many organizations and charities, and was the secretary for T.O.P.S. Darlene also enjoyed writing poetry, chaperoning the Accents Color guard and being in musicals with the Junior Women’s Club.
Survivors include her two daughters, Mary Beth (Kym) Davis, of Mesa, AZ, and Amy (Mark) Sagal, of Sheboygan; sons-in-law, Tom Hauert, and Paul Gollner, both of Sheboygan; grandchildren, Bejya (Eric) Freedman, Kalyb (Karen) Davis, Jon (Madi) Gollner, Jacob Sagal, and Cole Sagal; great-grandchildren, Sylas, and Kayde Freedman; a sister-in-law, Diane LaPean, of Appleton; and her brother, Ronald (Judy) LaPean, of Grafton. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughters, Kate Hauert, Patti Brinkman-Gollner, brothers, Dale and Byron Jr., a granddaughter, Andrea Gollner, and the father of her children, John Brinkman.
A memorial service for Darlene will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan with Fr. Paul Fliss officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. A private burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
