Announced on September 8, 2022, the City of Sheboygan revealed a new app that create a new avenue for citizens to request city services, report issues, and ask questions. The app, called “Sheboygan, WI” will also give citizens contact information for elected officials, links to city social media platforms, parks and facilities, business directory, animal and pet information, Route Shout and transportation resources courtesy of Shoreline Metro.
“With the launch of the city app, we are using technology to drive efficiency within the city, while focusing on providing a great experience and a documented audit trail for requests from our customers, Sheboygan residents, and visitors,” Todd Wolf, Sheboygan City Administrator said. The goal of the app is to streamline the reporting and response to civic requests. It hopes to increase efficiency of those services and increase accessibility to more people to have information about the community.
A big part of the app will be an updated version of “Click to Report.” Previously “Click to Report” was only available on the city’s website, which app now streamlines the feature although it can only be used for specific things like online requests, parking meter issues, property violations, and pot hole reports. The city also recommends to not use for emergency issues.
To download the app, visit iTunes, or the Google Play Stores.
