Doris M. Beyer, age 90, of Plymouth, WI, passed away Tuesday morning (September 6,
2022) at Aurora Medical Center –Sheboygan County.
She was born on October 10, 1931 in Cascade, WI, a daughter of the late Esther
Rheingans.
She graduated from Waldo High School in 1949.
On March 2, 1957 she married Albert L. Beyer in Plymouth. The couple resided in
Plymouth until Albert’s death on December 12, 2006.
She was employed by Cleveland Container for 45 years.
She enjoyed reading, following Plymouth Panthers High School sports and watching
stock car racing at the Sheboygan County fairgrounds and especially loved family
gatherings, spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren and
spending time with her feline companions: Marshmallow, Bambi and Sadie.
She is survived by: two daughters: Mary Grunow of Glenbeulah and Sheri (Ernest)
Nytes of Plymouth; grandchildren: Sarah Grunow (Companion: Jim Garner) of
Sheboygan, Michelle Grunow of Plymouth, Cassie Harvey (Her husband: Mike Harvey
Jr.) of Plymouth, Nicole (Jose) Nieto of Waldo, Angel (Andy) Gilbert of Cascade, Jenna
(Armando) Moreno of Sheboygan, Marla Nytes (Special friends: Nick Jacobs and Gina
Mohr) of Plymouth; great-grandchildren: Tatyanna, Nevada and Micaela Nieto, Austin,
Alexis and Andrew Gilbert, Alejandro, Jazmyn,
Abigail and Amalia Moreno-Beyer and Adilynn Malson of Plymouth; one step-grandson:
David Nytes of Adell; three brothers-in-law: Peter (Barbara) Beyer of Green Bay,
Edward (Judy) Beyer of Oconto Falls, Charles (Rosemary) Beyer of Kaukauna; five
sisters-in-law: Marcella Meulemans of Kaukauna, Jackie Jones of Abrams, Agnes
Karner of DePere, Cathy Erdmann of Kaukauna, Janice Beyer of Kaukauna; and one
half-sister: Julia O’Reilly
She was preceded in death by her mother: Esther Rheingans and her husband: Albert
L. Beyer, one son: Larry (Carrie) Beyer, one son-in-law: William Grunow, one great-
granddaughter, Mercedez Nieto, eight brothers-in-law; Billy Jones, Alex Beyer, Art
Meulemans, Roger Erdmann, Alex “Herbie” (Judy) Beyer , Edmund Beyer Jr., Robert
Karner, Joseph Blachuta, one sister-in-law: Joyce Van Roy, one step-granddaughter:
Sara Nytes, one step-great-granddaughter: Mary Ann Wonch; adopted grandson:
Mitchell Yurmanavich and special friend of the family: Gerald Christie.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday evening (September 14, 2022) at 6:00
P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Richard York, Pastor of Christian
Life Assembly of God Church will officiate. Cremation has taken place and inurnment
will be in Beechwood Cemetery in the Town of Scott.
Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Wednesday from 4:00
P.M. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Doris’s name.
