Daniel “Butch” Oglan, of Sheboygan, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at ABridge Care Center in Chilton, WI. He was 75 years old. Daniel was born December 10, 1946 in Sheboygan, WI, the son of Harry and Anna (Svetlauskas) Oglan. He attended school in Sheboygan, WI. He retired after 40 years of employment at Kohler Company working as a hand trucker in the brass department. He was united in marriage to Sharon Blum (Rawling) in 1968 and was married for 15 years.
An avid biker, Dan always enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He also loved hunting, fishing and working on his vehicles. He loved animals, especially dogs, and enjoyed the time he spent with family listening to music and dancing. He would even play the drums to songs like “Wipe Out”.
Dan is survived by his children, Daniel and Marcia (Sprenger) Oglan, Brian Oglan and Jessica Oglan; grandchildren, Devin, Caden, Kaylee and Jonah; great-granddaughter Camila Noemi. He is further survived by two sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery.
