(WHBL) – Another Wisconsin lawmaker is criticizing the governor for the back-up at the state’s licensing agency.
State Rep. Alex Dallman from Green Lake said on Monday that doctors, nurses, hairdressers, and thousands of others have been waiting weeks and months for the state to issue them a license to work. He says Governor Evers has had plenty of time to fix any issues at the Department of Safety and Professional Services, and it’s time to get some results.
DSPS officials say they are trying to update their computer system and are struggling to hire new workers. Dallman says that’s no excuse to keep delaying other people’s ability to do their jobs.
