CHICAGO, IL (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers scored five runs over the final three innings to pick up a 5-2 win over the Cubs in Chicago on Sunday.
Keston Hiura led the way with two homers, including a solo shot in the 7th and a two-run blast in the 9th which capped off the scoring for the game. He now has 12 home runs on the season. Rowdy Tellez also went deep in the 7th.
Hiura was the only Brewer with multiple hits on the day.
Brandon Woodruff pitched 5 and two-thirds innings, allowing two earned runs off four hits. Brent Suter earned the win in relief and Taylor Rodgers picked up the save.
Milwaukee is now 64-56 on the season and will head to Los Angeles for a three-game series against the Dodgers beginning Monday night. Pregame on WHBL begins at 8:35.
