Mary A. Lowe, 81, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday morning, August 19, 2022 at St. Nicholas Hospital.
Born September 8, 1940 in Sheboygan, Mary was a daughter of the late Walter and Alice Krueter Ninmer. She attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Central High School in 1959. On December 24, 1964, she was united in marriage to Fred Lowe, III at the First Congregational Church in Sheboygan. They were married for 41 years before Fred preceded her in death on February 18, 2006.
Mary was a homemaker and was a member of the First Congregational Church in Sheboygan and the Sheboygan Turners. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and volleyball and was an avid Brewer fan. She loved to read but her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and meeting her great granddaughter.
She is survived by her two daughters, Dawn (Chad) Wood, and Stacy (Tim) Halverson both of Sheboygan; her grandchildren, Samantha and Kyle Wood, Sheboygan, and Cayden (Gracie) Mitchell San Diego, CA; her great granddaughter, Elaina Mitchell; her brothers, Roger (Gail) Ninmer, Edgerton, and Thomas Ninmer, Sheboygan; her sisters, Janie Lange, Riverview, FL, Nancy (Larry) Winveen, Shawano, Grace (Richard) Reichardt, Sheboygan, and Ann Salm, Sheboygan; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is further survived by her granddog, Dobby.
Besides her parents and her husband, Fred, she was preceded in death by her brothers Robert, Ralph and Walter Ninmer and her brothers-in-law, Robert Lange, and Simon Salm.
A memorial service for Mary will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service. Inurment will take place in Wildwood Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
