A 30-year-old Appleton Man is in the custody of the Manitowoc County Sheriff, accused of arranging to meet a 15-year-old girl for sex.
Grant Stamper was identified after law enforcement answered an online personal ad meant to arrange for the meeting with what detectives represented was the young girl. Stamper traveled to Manitowoc County for the arranged meeting, upon which he was taken into custody on charges of child enticement and use of a computer to facilitate a child sex crime.
Authorities are trying to determine if there are additional victims that may have been involved with Stamper. In addition, anyone can call the Manitowoc County Crime Stoppers line at 920-683-4466, or utilize the P3 app, and remain anonymous.
The Federal Bureau of Investigations and Manitowoc Police Department were credited by the Manitowoc County Sheriff with assisting in the investigation.
