MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – A two home run, three RBI day from Andrew McCutchen lifted the Milwaukeee Brewers to a 5-3 win over the LA Dodgers at American Family Field on Thursday afternoon as the two teams split their four-game series.
Hunter Renfroe added a two-run shot to go with McCutchen’s pair, with the two players accounting for five of the six Brewers’ hits on the day.
Christian Yelich added a single.
Corbin Burnes picked up the win. He allowed six hits and gave up three earned runs. Devin Williams nailed down his eighth save of the season with three strikeouts in the 9th.
Milwaukee is now 63-54 on the season.
The Brewers now head to Chicago for a three-game weekend series against the Cubs. Game one is Friday afternoon with pregame coverage beginning at 12:45 on WHBL.
