MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The LA Dodgers beat the Milwaukee Brewers 2-1 on Wednesday night at American Family Field.
The Brewers managed only four hits and their only run came on a Christian Yelich RBI in the 8th inning. The Crew did have two men on base in the 9th inning but Luis Urias grounded out to end the game.
Tony Gonsolin ran his record to 15-1 going seven innings with no runs on two hits with 8 strikeouts.
Eric Lauer pitched well for Milwaukee, going 7 innings with two runs on four hits and 7 strikeouts.
Milwaukee is now three games behind St. Louis after the Cardinals beat Colorado. The Brewers are two games back in the wild card chase.
