MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Victor Caratini hit a two-run single in the bottom of the 11th inning as the Milwaukee Brewers walked off the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-4 at American Family Field on Tuesday night.
After LA had taken a 4-3 lead in the top of the 11th, Hunter Renfroe dropped down a bunt single which put runners at the corners. Luis Urias walked to load the bases and Caratini blooped one into right that won the ballgame.
Willy Adames homered in the first and Christian Yelich went deep in the fifth for the Crew.
Brent Suter collected the win in relief for Milwaukee, which improved to 62-53.
Craig Kimbrel suffered the loss and blown save for Los Angeles. Mookie Betts, Joey Gallo and Chris Taylor each hit a home run in the losing effort.
Game three of the four-game series takes place Wednesday night. Pregame coverage on WHBL begins at 6:35.
