Indiana Avenue will be closed to all traffic between Taylor Drive and South 24th Street today as work continues on the reconstruction of the road also known as “PP”. That closure should last only from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. today, when eastbound-only traffic can use it again. Also after 7 this evening, traffic on South 24th between Indiana and Georgia Avenues will revert to its original one-way designation. That street has been two-way since April 21st when the Indiana Avenue intersection was closed for the roadwork.
The construction, which is part of a State project to improve the roadway between Esslingen Park west of Taylor Drive to South 24th Street, is expected to take until November to complete.
