
Wayne A. Miller, 79, of Sheboygan Falls, formerly of Hancock, WI passed away peacefully at
Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice on July 1, 2022.
Born in Ripon, WI on October 16, 1942, Wayne was the son of the late Arnold and Lorene
(Moldenhauer) Miller. He graduated from Ripon High School in 1961, after graduation he
attended Moraine Park Technical College earning a degree in Accounting in 1963.
He served his country in the U.S. Army as Military Police from 1964 to 1966. On October 14,
1967, he was united in marriage to Mary (Kathy) Wirth in Ripon.
Wayne worked at Condon Oil, Ripon Police Department, Ralston Purina, and Merrick Foods
before going into business for himself as Miller Farms, buying and selling animal feed and
eventually buying Dairyland Bait Company in Plymouth, WI. In his younger years, he was an
avid athlete participating in football, softball, basketball, and bowling. He coached summer
women's softball in Sheboygan as well as Hancock, WI. He also enjoyed spending time with
family at the lake lot in Montello, hunting, traveling, working outside cutting wood and grass,
going to Packer and Brewer games, and working at his daughter's boarding kennel.
He is survived by his daughters Christine Tulius, Shawano, WI and Becky Miller, Plymouth, WI,
granddaughter Jordan (Boon) Phonesaythip, great-grandson Evan, step great-grandchildren
Aidan Phonesaythip and Keiarrah Hermann, his sister LuAnn (Paul) Weldon, his niece Dawn
(Todd) Finley, and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his ex-wife Mary (Kathy).
He will be missed by everyone who knew him; he was the life of the party no matter where he
was.
A service and celebration of life will take place on his 80 th birthday, October 16th in Plymouth,
WI. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth, with a
service and Military Rites to follow at 3:00 PM. A celebration of life will follow at Amore, in
Plymouth, WI starting at 4:00 PM.
