On July 21, 2022 with heavy hearts we had to suddenly say goodbye to the love of my life, my husband,
Thomas W. Maine, 69 of Sheboygan Falls with who I have spent over 43 wonderful years together.
Tom was born on March 28, 1953 in Rhinelander a son to the late William and Margaret (Rhode) Maine.
He attended schools in Rhinelander and then enlisted in the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam era.
Tom was always proud of and spoke highly of his military service. Tom and his family moved to the Town
of Sheboygan Falls where they maintained a hobby farm. He and Dawn worked together at Nemschoff
Chair until his retirement. At Nemschoff he had made many friends which he loved to hang with
especially at his famous daily spicy buffet. Tom was gifted mechanically and could tackle many of the
problems that arose. He had a special love for his horses and his German Shepherds, especially, Juno.
He also enjoyed hunting. We will all miss him until we meet again later.
Tom is survived by his wife, Dawn, his son and fiancé, Chad Hahn and Karen Johannes of West Bend and
other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and other family members.
A Celebration of Life for Tom will be held on Sunday, July 31 at 2:00 PM at N5421 Meadowlark Road,
Sheboygan Falls.
Dawn and Chad would like to extend their gratitude and appreciation to the staff at the Aurora Grafton
Medical Center and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center for their gentle compassion
and care.
