Barbara Ann Miske, age 89, of Plymouth, WI, passed away early Friday morning (June
24, 2022) at Songbird Assisted Living in Plymouth.
She was born April 14, 1933 in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin; a daughter of the late
Leo and Bertha (Webb) Schneider.
She attended Fond du Lac area schools, graduating from Fond du Lac High School.
On January 10, 1953, Barbara married Roger Fredrick Miske in Waukegan, Illinois.
The couple resided in Plymouth since their marriage. Her husband preceded her in death
on June 29, 2017.
She was employed at the West Bend Company for 32 years, retiring in 1995.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth.
Barbara enjoyed taking motorcycle rides, playing bingo, bird watching, and her “four-
o’clock old-fashions” with her husband.
She is survived by her son: Steven (Cheryl) Miske of Plymouth; two daughters: Sue
(fiancé: Brian Schwind) Reinke of Plymouth and Sandra Gisch (significant other Gary
Theune) of Plymouth; nine grandchildren: Shawn Miske, Jauda (Josh) Steinhardt, Jessica
Reinke, Amber (fiancé: Gary Brandt) Geiken, William Reinke, Tanya (Cletus) Hoehn,
Megan Miske, Josh Miske, Tiffany (Jason) Ellis; Six great-grandchildren: Cooper
Steinhardt, Sutton Steinhardt, Sicily Geiken, Gavin Ellis, Jaxon Ellis and Lily Miske; and
one brother: Donald Schneider of Fond du Lac.
Barbara is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Roger; son: Scott,
Grandson: Alexander Gisch; siblings: Gerald (Verla) Schneider, Clarence (Betty)
Schneider, Jerome Schneider, Lloyd Schneider, Doris (Gil) Simsonson, Florence (Arvin)
Mensch; three sisters-in-law: Carol Huebner, Betty (Arno) Rabb, Bernice (Robert)
Blanke; and brother-in-law: James Miske.
In accordance with Barbara’s wishes, cremation has taken place and private family
services will be held.

Barbara gave me a flag shirt she made had at one of the performances I will continue to wear it on stage in her memory, she was such a kind and loving person and always made me smile.
