Allen A. Bukosky, age 78, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. He was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on February 15, 1944, son of the late Robert and Dolores Walter Bukosky.
On June 11, 1966, Allen was united in marriage to Judith A. Brockman at Holy Redeemer Church in Milwaukee. Judy preceded Allen in death on August 23, 2020. During his career as an electrical engineer, he worked with Bell Labs, Borg Instruments, and retired from Muth Mirror Systems in 2008.
Allen was a long-time member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sheboygan. He enjoyed woodworking and cabinetry, photography, along with other quirky hobbies like creating a wooden bicycle, picking up roadside bungie cords, sawing the top off of an old car just for fun, and was a master of puns.
Survivors include his three children, Wendy (Aaron) Miller of Delavan, Wl, Roger Bukosky of Owings Mills, MD and Gail (Jose) Medina of Milwaukee, Wl; grandchildren, Nicky Plante, Derek Krause, Brittney Steltenpohl, Violet Polack, Dustin Krause, Andrew Miller and Jacob Bukosky; great-grandchildren, Carter Krause, Curtis and Cadyn Plante, Memphis Krause, Mason, Matthew, and Tennessee Steltenpohl, Micaiah Comerford, Raven Krause, Michael, Michelle, and Mitchell Miller; and a brother, Steven (Patricia) Bukosky, of Waukesha.
A memorial service for Allen will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum.
