Weather permitting, hundreds of students from Sheboygan’s Central, Etude, North, South, and George Warriner High Schools will “walk the bowl” at Vollrath Park and receive their diplomas during ceremonies that begin at 2 p.m. tomorrow, and that’s prompted a few reminders from the Sheboygan Police Department.
North 3rd Street will be closed from the intersection of Park Avenue north to that with Vollrath Boulevard from about 1 until 5 p.m. Vollrath Boulevard itself will be reserved for Handicapped parking only during the event. City ordinances prohibit pets in that park, and alcohol won’t be allowed between 1 and 5.
As for the weather, there is a chance of rain, going from about 20% at the start, and rising to about 60% by the end, and with lots of clouds and temps in the mid 60s a light jacket is a good idea. If rain postpones the event, then everything moves to Sunday which, for now, looks much drier, a bit sunnier, and mid 60s once again.
