Those with business to conduct with City of Sheboygan agencies will be unable to do that next week Wednesday.
Director of Planning and Development Chad Pelishek said the upgrade to the City’s software that tracks and helps manage day-to-day business activities and accounting is behind the interruption. Because of the operation on Wednesday, June 15th, customer service windows at the Sheboygan Police Department, Building Inspection Division, Finance Department and Department of Public Works will be closed for the day. That means no parking ticket payments or pet licensing with the Police; permitting, licensing or payments with the Building Inspector, cashiering transactions with the Finance Department, and no park or other permits or payments – including for boat slips – through the Department of Public Works.
While there can always be bugs to work out, the City is planning to resume normal operations on Thursday the 16th.
