CHICAGO, IL (WHBL) – The Chicago Cubs beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4-3 in 10 innings on Wednesday night at Wrigley Field.
Christopher Morel hit a sac fly to win it for Chicago.
Brewers starter Jason Alexander, making his major league debut, gave up two early runs but finished with seven innings of work, two earned runs with seven hits, three strikeouts and three walks.
Hoby Milner pitched the 10th and took the loss.
Kolten Wong, Omar Narvaez and Jace Peterson had the Brewers RBIs.
The Brewers finished their 11 game road trip at 6-5, and they’ll return to American Family Field to begin a four game series against the San Diego Padres Thursday night.
