CHICAGO, IL (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers swept a doubleheader with the Chicago Cubs on Monday with a 7-6 win in game one and a 3-1 final in the second game.
Jace Peterson, Luis Urias, and Tyrone Taylor homered in the win in the first game for the Brewers while Miguel Sanchez earned the win.
Rafael Ortega and P.J. Higgins went yard in the first loss for the Cubs. Daniel Norris took the loss for Chicago.
In game two, Aaron Ashby struck out 12 and allowed just one run over six innings for the Brewers while Taylor homered again.
Willson Contreras homered in the second loss for the Cubs.
Game three of the series is set for Tuesday night with pregame coverage on WHBL beginning at 6:30.
