Before the pandemic you could join big crowds on Thursday nights for a summer evening of music and socializing on Sheboygan’s City Green. That was three years ago, and the wait for its return is over.
The John Michael Kohler Arts Center has announced that the Levitt AMP series of concerts will return to downtown Sheboygan at 6 PM on June 23rd with a trio of Portland, Oregon sisters headlining the opening night. “Joseph”, as they’re known, first made a splash in 2016 with their song “White Flag” topping Billboard’s Adult Alternative Songs chart. They’ll take to the stage at 7 PM following an opening band still to be announced.
As in the past, there’ll be food and drink vendors on hand for those gathering on blankets and lawn chairs for the family-friendly series of shows that will take place weekly at 6 PM, except during July’s Outdoor Festival of the Arts. You can find more information online at JMKAC.org.
