MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers struggled to get a hit with runners in scoring position numerous times in a 3-0 loss to Atlanta on Tuesday night at American Family Field.
The Crew managed five hits but went 1 for 14 with men on base.
The Braves’ Adam Duvall scored an unearned run in the fifth to end a string of 20 straight scoreless innings for Atlanta. They would add two more runs in the 8th.
Adrian Houser pitched six innings, giving up the one unearned run on four hits with six strikeouts and two walks.
Hunter Renfroe had two of Milwaukee’s five hits.
The two teams finish up their series Wednesday afternoon with pregame coverage on WHBL beginning at 11:35.
