MIAMI, FL (WHBL) – A three-homer day from the Brewers’ offense helped Milwaukee defeat the Miami Marlins 7-3 on Sunday, ending a ten-game road trip for the Crew.
Kolten Wong finished 2-4 with a home run, two runs scored, and one RBI to lead the offense. DH Rowdy Tellez added two hits and two RBI including a solo home run.
Omar Narvaez went 2-5 with a double and an RBI.
Brandon Woodruff pitched five strong innings to earn the win. Aaron Ashby then pitched four innings in relief, not allowing a hit or an earned run to earn the save. Woodruff and Ashby combined to strike out 14 Marlin batters.
