Sheboygan will get a visit from U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin today.
The Senator will join Mayor Ryan Sorenson and other local officials at the Sheboygan Water Utility to highlight $2 million in federal funding she helped deliver to the Utility which provides drinking water to Sheboygan, Sheboygan Falls and Kohler.
Baldwin, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, got that money included in a $176 million package of directed spending requests on behalf of public and nonprofit entities across Wisconsin. The funds were part of the 2022 fiscal year appropriations which were signed by President Biden in March.
The Senator will make her visit to the Sheboygan Water Utility at 10:30 this morning.
