A string of vehicle thefts and break-ins has Sheboygan Falls Police hoping the public can help solve the crimes.
The latest incident happened on Tuesday when a vehicle was stolen from the 100 block of Summer Street. Surveillance camera footage showed the vehicle in downtown Sheboygan Falls at around 4:30 a.m., and later at various locations in the City of Sheboygan before being located back in Falls in the 100 block of Amherst Avenue.
While surveillance cameras are increasingly useful in solving crimes, another technology may prove key to solving this one; the suspects had used bluetooth to link their phone to the vehicle, revealing the nickname of “Baby T”. While a phone number couldn’t be recovered, Police are hoping that the public will help lead them to an arrest, and are asking those with information about “Baby T” to contact Sheboygan Countywide Crimestoppers at 1-877-CUF-THEM (1-877-283–8436). Tipsters remain anonymous and could be eligible for a $1,000 reward.
