Data revisions have resulted in the COVID-19 death toll in Sheboygan County being revised downward by 1. There have now been 267 confirmed deaths due to the coronavirus pandemic here.
Known active cases in Sheboygan County are now the highest since 167 were recorded on March 14th, with 164 active on Thursday. 24 new confirmed cases were added while 16 recovered. After reaching a high of 15 earlier this week, the 7-day average of daily new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Sheboygan County as of 4/27 declined one point to 14.
One more persons in the county has had a stay in the hospital for treatment of their symptoms, becoming the 1,216th patient. One is currently hospitalized.
63.0% of county residents, or 29,622, have now received at least one dose of vaccine with the addition of 16 since Wednesday. 60.5%, or 69,760, have gotten both shots – an increase of 18 in the last day. 33.2%, or 38,302, have received boosters, 28 more than on Thursday.
