Ann M. (Schetter) Turk, age 76, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23,
2022, at Countryside Manor.
Ann was born on March 7, 1946, to Raymond and Matilda (Strojinc) Schetter in Sheboygan. She
graduated from Elkhart Lake High School with the class of 1964 and later graduated from UW –
Madison in 1969 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Ann raised two children, Dan and
Theresa.
Ann had always been a caretaker through her entire life and always showed up to be there for
those she cherished. Whether it was for her children, grandchildren, or parents, she was always
there. She was fortunate enough to be there for her parents as they grew older. Ann enjoyed
watching the Badgers and Packers play, but her favorite sporting events were the games and
practices of her grandchildren.
Ann will be remembered by her children, Dan (Jennifer) Turk and Theresa (Wayne) Zarling;
grandchildren, Ryan Turk, Gabrielle Turk, Jack Turk, and Cora Zarling; siblings, Mary Meyer,
James (Donna) Schetter, Susan Platz, Steve (Brenda) Schetter, and Carol (Dennis) Bardon; nieces
and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers-in-law, Richard Meyer and Kenneth
Platz.
A Funeral Service will be held for Ann at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Zimmer-
Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (W2132 Garton Road, Sheboygan, WI 53083). A
public visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until Ann’s service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Greendale Cemetery near Ann’s parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Paul’s Lutheran School and Preschool in
Howards Grove for their Growing Forward Building Project.
Ann’s family would like to thank the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and
Countryside Manor for their wonderful care and support.
