Gerald “Jerry” H. Goebel, age 79, passed away on April 21, 2022, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan,
surrounded by his loving family. Born September 11, 1942, in Sheboygan to the late Joseph and Helen
(Ahrens) Goebel. He graduated from Sheboygan Central High School class of 1960. He later worked for
Vollrath for over 30 years as a laborer where he retired.
Jerry enjoyed hunting, spending time up north and western movies.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 40 years Mary Goebel, his son Jeffrey (Cindy) Goebel, his granddaughter
Nicole (Travis) Crawford and great grandchildren Harrison and Arlington “Arlo” Crawford, his brother
William (Sharon) Goebel, along with his sister Charlotte Erbstoesser.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Arline (Bernard) Van Wagner and his brother-
in-law Alan Erbstoesser.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Jerry’s name.
The family would like to thank Dr. Barnes along with the staff at Sunnyridge for their care, compassion
and support over the past few years.
