Sigurd Richard Gruttner 87, of Plymouth WI, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April
9th 2022.
He was born on May 4th 1934 in Jauer, Silesia Germany. On November 5th, 1955 he married the love of
his life, Hannelore Klara Antoni.
In 1958 he immigrated to London, Ontario Canada with his wife and daughter Ursula and three years
later, moved to Sheboygan, WI with his family and another daughter Carol.
Siggy was very active in the Jaycees, The Sheboygan Elks Lodge and the UCT.
He enjoyed many roles throughout his life, including carpentry, electrical, landscaping and helping his
son Steve flip houses, and just being an all-around handyman. Siggy always lent a helping hand to
anyone in need.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Hannelore “Lori”, daughters: Ursula Schwanke(Chris Miller), Carol
Schwartz, Christine(Todd)Luedtke and a son Steven (Jana) Gruttner, along with 12 grandchildren and 9
great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Siggy was a wonderful husband, father & papa. He will always be remembered for the encouraging
advice he has given to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. And we will all be eternally
grateful for his many words of wisdom.
A private service and inurnment will be held for the family at the Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Town
of Sheboygan. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
