Kevin F. “Ike” Eissner, 67, of Sheboygan, passed away Tuesday evening, March 22, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born September 17, 1954 in Sheboygan, Kevin was a son of the late Floyd and Beverly Schild Eissner. He attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School. On September 25, 1976, he was united in marriage to Laura M. Schneider at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. They were married for 38 years before Laura preceded him in death on May 16, 2015.
Ike worked at Verifine Dairy for 37 years before his retirement in 2015. He was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing softball and coaching basketball. He and his wife Laura enjoyed their “weekend warrior” outings. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his family, grandchildren and all the kids who called him Boppa.
He is survived by his daughters, Tamara (Geoff) Ellersick, and Jennifer (Martin) Campos; four grandchildren, Jessica (Tony), Brooke, Christian, Kylee and Lydia; and one great grandson, Hunter; all of Sheboygan; his sisters and brothers, Michelle (Jim) Nottling, FL, Patrick (Mary) Eissner, Maureen Martin, Joseph (Jennell) Eissner, Jay (RoseLee) Eissner, all of Sheboygan, and Christine (Scott) Saunders, Milwaukee; nieces and nephews, Natalie (Tim), Emily (fiancé Donato), Colton, Trenton, (fiancé Julia), Heather, Jordan (Andrea), Jessica, Jordan, Gabby. Jeremiah and Eli; other relatives and many friends including Doug and Julie Grube, and Jack and Rosalee Keser.
Besides his parents and his wife, Laura, he was preceded in death by his in-laws, Raymond and Luella Schneider, and his brother-in-law, David.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 818 Huron Avenue, Sheboygan. Family and friends are welcome at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, on Monday, March 28, 2022 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Aurora at Home Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
