A slow, steady decline in COVID-19 activity in Sheboygan County remains the rule for now as case counts, hospitalizations…and vaccination rates…all decline day-by-day.
4 new cases were confirmed in the last day, while 13 more persons recovered, lowering the active count by 9. One more hospitalization was logged, while the patient count was cut in half, to 4. The 7-day average of daily new cases remains at 3. A total of 28,301 cases have been identified so far in Sheboygan County, and 151 of those are active, the fewest since 147 were noted on August 4 last year.
62.8% of county residents, or 72,347, have received at least one dose of vaccine, an increase of 10 since Tuesday. 60.1%, or 69,229, have received two doses, 25 more than on Tuesday, while 32.4%, or 37,381, have received boosters. That’s 32 more than on Tuesday.
