Anne Marie Clarke completed her journey to heaven on March 6th, 2022, in her
home surrounded by her husband and four children.
Anne was born on May 10th, 1964, in Evanston, IL and grew up in Arlington
Heights, IL. She graduated from Arlington High School in 1982. After graduation,
she attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she met her
husband, Tom. She transferred to Harper College in Arlington Heights, IL after
her sophomore year, and after one year there attended nursing school at Rush
University in Chicago, IL. Anne graduated from Rush University with a Bachelor
of Science in Nursing in 1987. Anne married her husband Tom on October 31st,
1987. They spent 34 joyous years married. Anne worked as a Registered Nurse
at Rush Medical Center in Chicago for 7 years, followed by 20 years at St.
Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. She graduated from Concordia University with
her Master of Science in Nursing in 2014 and spent the end of her career
working as a Nurse Practitioner in Sheboygan.
Always a straight shooter, Anne was known for her quick wit, sense of humor,
honesty, and most of all her love and care. She was a mother to every kid that
walked in her door and a friend to everyone she met. She was beloved by
everyone in the nursing community. Anne was an avid walker and loved taking
long walks along Lake Michigan. Growing up an athlete, Anne excelled in tennis
and bowling. She was the MVP of the Harper College tennis team. Anne grew to
become a big sports fan, her favorite teams being the Chicago Cubs and Penn
State Football. More than anything, Anne loved spending quality time with her
family.
Anne is survived by her husband Tom, her children Matt, Pat, Ellie, and Maddie,
her parents Dave and Carolyn Rogers, and her siblings Joe (Meg) Rogers, Marty
(Cari) Rogers, Liz Meyer, Helen (Ron) Cooke, and Don (Ket) Duffy. Anne had a
large and loving extended family and countless friends.
Thank you to the many healthcare workers at St. Nicholas Hospital, St. Vincent
Hospital, Mayo Clinic, Sheboygan Cancer and Blood Specialists, and Sharon S.
Richardson Hospice who took care of her. A special thank you to Dr. S. Mark
Bettag and Dr. Ian A. Sproat.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, at 12:00 Noon
at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 818 Huron Ave., Sheboygan, with Fr.
Norberto Sandoval officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Relatives
and friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 11. 2022 from 10:00 AM
until the time of service at the CHURCH. If you are unable to join the family for
the service. It will be livestreamed on Anne’s obituary page on the funeral home
website.
