Dennis Brand, 73, passed away on February 28, 2022, at home with his family by his side.
He was born in Sheboygan on August 21, 1948, to the late Rudy and Elizabeth (Weagan) Brand. Dennis
was a member of the 99 Club and Christ Lutheran Church. On April 5, 1998, Dennis married Peg in Las
Vegas. For 18 years the couple owned Bumps Bar, making many friends over the years, until their
retirement in 2015. He also worked at Vollrath Company for over 43 years.
Dennis loved to golf. You could always count on Dennis to tell a dirty joke and strike up a conversation
with anyone he would meet. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife Peggy, of Sheboygan; sons, Cory (Kim) Brand, Erik (Mandi Meisner)
Meyer and Christopher Meyer; eight grandchildren, especially Sonya Schober of Manitowoc who he
helped raise.
A private family service has been held for Dennis.
A memorial fund has been established in Dennis’s name.
